Privacy Policy

Dotivo is a puzzle game for Android. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Android app com.dotivo.game.

The short version. You can play without an account at all. We never ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we do not sell data to anyone. What we collect is how the game is played, crash reports, and the identifiers our advertising and analytics providers need. If you choose to sign in with Google to protect your progress, we also store that account's email address.

What we collect

Contacts, photos, files, messages or microphone data
Payment card details — purchases are handled entirely by Google Play, which never shares your card with us

Accounts

By default your saved game is tied to an anonymous identifier created on first launch. It is a random string, not linked to a Google account, an email address, or anything that identifies you as a person.

You can optionally sign in with Google so your progress survives losing or changing your phone. If you do, we receive your Google account's email address and store it against your save so the account can be recognised on another device. Signing in is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it — and you can sign out or delete the account at any time.

Who we share it with

We use Google services to run the game. Each acts as our processor:

Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) — saved games, usage analytics, crash reports
Google AdMob — advertising
Google Play Billing — subscriptions

Their handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Advertising

Dotivo shows ads between levels and offers optional videos you can watch for an in-game reward. Ads may be personalised using your advertising ID.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before serving personalised ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can decline, and you can change your mind at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options in the app. If you decline, we do not request personalised ads.

You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Android settings, under Privacy or Google → Ads.

Subscriptions

Dotivo offers an optional subscription that removes ads and pays a daily bonus. Payment is processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened and what it entitles you to — never your payment details. Manage or cancel any time in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.

How long we keep it

Saved games are kept while the app is installed and for as long as the anonymous identifier exists
Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days
Analytics are retained according to our Firebase settings, up to 14 months

Your choices and rights

Delete your account and all data — Settings → Delete account and data erases your cloud save, purchase records and sign-in immediately. Full details, including how to request deletion after uninstalling, are on the account deletion page
Reset your progress only — Settings → Reset progress puts stars, levels, coins and hints back to zero but keeps your account
Turn off personalised ads — Settings → Ad privacy options, or reset your advertising ID
Access, correction, objection, portability — if you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights. Email us and we will respond within 30 days

Because accounts are anonymous, we may need the identifier shown under Settings → Cloud save in order to find your data.

Children

Dotivo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
